Warranty Policy explained
The Three-Year
Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty covers this product against
defects in materials or workmanship from the date of manufacturing
encoded in the serial number for a period of three (3) years.
Service:
If the product
fails under normal use due to an electronic component failure
within the warranty period, Proview will repair or replace the
defective unit item with new unit. The warranty will be equal
to the remainder of the original limited warranty period on
the original Product.
Exclusions:
This limited
warranty does not cover the repair of cracked, scratched,
broken or modified plastic or other cosmetic damage; parts
that have been altered, defaced or removed; or CRT scratches.
Also, it does not apply to repairs or replacement necessitated
by any cause beyond the control of Proview including, but not
limited to, any malfunction, defects or failures which in the
opinion of Proview that were caused by or resulting from
unauthorized service or parts, improper maintenance, operation
contrary to furnished instructions, shipping or transit
accidents, modification or repair by the user, abuse, misuse,
neglect, accident, fire, flood, or other acts of God,
incorrect line voltage or normal wear and tear, including,
without limitation, phosphor burns, purity problems and
geometric distortion. Normal CRT aging may result in reduced
focus and luminance characteristic of the monitor. CRT
phosphor burns are caused by operation the monitor at
excessive brightness levels for extended periods. Purity
problems may be caused by monitor mishandling. This limited
warranty does not apply to damage that occurs during
unpacking, setup, or installation; removal of the product for
repair; reinstallation of the product after repair, or
shipping cost of the product for any purpose.
The proof of
purchase in the form of an invoice or sales receipt which is
evidence that the unit is within the warranty period must be
presented to obtain warranty service.
This warranty
is invalid if the factory applied serial number has been
altered or removed from the product. There are no other
expressed warranties, whether written or oral, other than this
printed limited warranty. All implied warranties, including
without limitation the implied warranties or merchantability
or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the
durations of this limited warranty. In no event shall Proview
or the Proview European sales offices be liable for incidental
or consequential damages of any nature whatsoever, including
but not limited to lost profit or commercial loss, to the full
extent those damages can be disclaimed by law.
